When I drove to Beaumont in March to listen to Barack Obama speak, I had no idea what the future would hold. I didn't know, standing outside that town hall meeting, that I was literally 5 feet from the future president of the United States.
Being involved in this election has been an eye opening experience. I've learned more about myself and my beliefs these past few months than I expected to, and I'm looking forward to the years ahead.
This has been an amazing ride, and I'm breathing a sigh of relief. :)
